Today one of our math groups made legs for some caterpillars! Mrs Derrick gave us a caterpillar with a number on it and we had to put enough pegs on it so it matched the number.
Here are some of our caterpillars!

Athletic Sports Day
We had our school athletic sports day today. We took part in the junior rotation. We did Jumping for length and height with Mrs Derrick, Relay's with Mrs White, Throwing for accuracy with Mrs Togiaso and Throwing for distance with Whaea Heather.
We tried really hard at all of these things and had a lot of fun. At the end we had sprints and moonhopper races.

Out and About - Week 2 - Visit to E Tipu E Rea Early Learning Centre
Today we walked down to E Tipu E Rea Early Learning Centre to spend some time with the children there.

We loved playing with all of the amazing equipment at E Tipu E Rea. It is a great Early Childhood Centre.
Summer and David were excited to see Janet and all of their old teachers.

van Gogh inspired flowers
Look at these amazing pastel drawings based on artist van Gogh's famous sunflowers series.
The children took lots of time and effort to create these great pictures.
I think some of our 5 year olds could be the next van Gogh!
