Friday Developmental - 15th March 2013

Our leprachaun prints and our class collage rainbow!
It's St. Patricks day on Sunday, and this week Mrs Derrick has been talking about Irish things. We have done St Patricks themed maths, language and watched a clip about Irish dancing on our Interactive TV from youtube. We finished our St. Patricks day theme with some a super-sized collage rainbow, that we all created together, complete with pots of gold hanging from it. This is now proudly displayed on our wall inside Room 7.

During developmental, we made our own Leprachauns, using our handprint. We decorated it with a smiling face, a green hat and a pot of gold to take home for our families. We also created our own collage mini-rainbow and Mrs Derrick added pots of gold to the bottom of them.

If you ever see a rainbow - try to find the bottom of it, as a leprachaun may have just left a pot of gold at the bottom of it!

  1. Hi Room 7,

I liked looking at your Leprachaun pictures and your rainbow collage. I love doing art with my class. I bet making the hand print leprachaun was fun. I hope you had a great St Patricks Day. Keep up the great learning.

  2. Hi Room 7,
Your rainbow artworks and leprachaun pictures are fantastic!
It would be great if Room 10 could come down and have a look at them sometime.
    Well done!
