End of Term Volcano Fun
On our last day of term 2, Mrs Derrick brought along the ingredients to make a volcano at school. The children were very excited, especially David.
Mrs Derrick used up the last of our play dough to shape the volcano and the children decorated it with sticks, leaves, flowers and rocks they found in the playground.
Caleb put some baking soda into the middle of the volcano and David added some vinegar mixed with red food colouring. We watched as the 'lava' erupted up and out of our play dough volcano.

Afterwards we drew pictures and wrote stories about what happened. If you come to Room 7, you can read them on our wall.
